Broadway Limited HO P4 GP30 Diesel N&W #525/As-Delivered DC/DCC SoundThe EMD GP30 is a 4 axle diesel electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro Motive Division between July 1961 and November 1963. A total of 948 units were built for railroads in the United States and Canada. The GP30's were designed to compete with GE's U25B. The U25B offered 2500 horsepower, while the existing EMD GP20 was only rated at 2,000 hp. The EMD's engineering department ended up using a 16 cylinder 567D3 engine that produced 2250 hp

Packaging was 10/10. Came in a box, each grille and eyelid was wrapped individually. The grilles were wrapped in foam for protection. Looks pretty good. No immediately noticeable blemishes on my order. Although it doesn't feel as rigid as the OEM one (of course) One thing I noticed tho was there is a crack/break in one of the grilles but it's not noticeable when the hood is shut. Not sure how that will affect how long it will last but it still looks good. Overall a 9/10 just cause of that crack.
