Judging from the graphics, this Bakelite container dates from the 1920's to the 1940's. This one also has the store's name on the lid, F. K. Wielbelt Villingen. It is in decent condition but does have some wear and chipped paint. The advertisement is from Signal magazine April 1 1943.

My guy loves the duck. At first the "different" sound put him off a bit but soon he was throwing his new toy all over the house.
