We use it primarily together with other yarns, but it is also beautiful used individually perhaps especially in a simple design. I have this case for my ipad, and I just bought one for my mom. It's sturdy and protective but lightweight. The ridges on one flap make it easy to prop the iPad horizontally and type on a keyboard (not included) or watch movies. I like the variety of colors. I got blue; my mom got hot pink. It's a good value for the investment in protecting my iPad.
