Reserved Georgian Mourning Pendant 1793A gorgeous Georgian Sepia Portrait Mourning Pendant dating to 1793. The pendant depicts a female standing outdoors in front of a plinth. The reverse of the pendant reads: Mutual Love Aged 16 RR BB(j?) Oct 22 1793 The pendant is in nice overall condition. It was originally a brooch which has had a gold frame applied at a later date. The gold is high carat and is set with seed pearls. There are some small losses to the enamel blue and white border.
